learn how to produce joints used in traditional woodworking

This course will introduce you to traditional and modern furniture joinery. You will learn how to lay out and cut the following joints both by hand and using machinery:
  • Mortise and tenon joints (through, wedged, draw bored, stub)
  • Dovetail joints (through, lapped)
  • Halving joints
  • Bridle joints
  • Domino joints
  • Biscuit joints
  • Dowel joints

At the end of this course, you will have produced samples of each type of joint to take away.

This course costs £275, which includes light lunches on both days at either the onsite cafe or local pub and all materials.

This course is run on a one-to-one basis and can be arranged for a date that suits both parties.
