Welcome
David Stephenson is a Hampshire based furniture designer-maker, specialising in designing and creating unique pieces of bespoke handcrafted freestanding furniture. Using sustainably sourced timber combined with traditional craftsmanship each piece of furniture is made to be used and designed to last!
David also offers one to one woodworking and furniture making courses & tuition. With a growing selection of one and two day courses perfect for those wishing to take their first steps exploring the world of woodworking.
David's bespoke furniture is commissioned by private and commercial clients around the UK seeking both unique and thoughtful design and high quality craftsmanship. Each piece of bespoke fine furniture is designed and handmade in David's small, well equipped workshop situated in the historic village of Weyhill near Andover on the border between Hampshire and Wiltshire.
His own furniture design style displays a combination of Shaker simplicity and function, with Arts and Crafts influences in construction details with a hint of mid-century Scandinavian style added into the mix, creating both a timeless and contemporary look.
