Why we collect personal information...
We collect your information to fulfil your orders, from the initial enquiry or purchase online to completion and dispatch. We also collect some customer data to make improvement to our website and future products.
What information we collect and how we may use it...
Here are a few examples of when we collect your information and how we may use it.
- During the initial order process, we will ask you for various pieces of information such as your name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address to be able to place an order with us.
- We may also discuss personal information over the phone when paying invoices.
- Your address details may be used and passed onto couriers depending on your location. Customers will be advised prior to delivery who their courier is, and provided with their details.
- We use Google Analytics to collect data showing how visitors are using the Stephenson Furniture and Stable Furniture websites. This information is only used to improve our sites and future products.
When we disclose your information...
We will not sell or rent your contact information to any other company at any time.
We do however pass on your address and contact information to couriers/delivery providers when delivering orders and occasionally onto other suppliers/crafts people (glass suppliers and blacksmiths for example) when working on a multi material item.
We do ask that all third party companies are inline with current GDPR legislation.

We will take all the necessary precautions including administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your personal information.
How long your information will be kept for...
Once you have commissioned a piece of furniture, been on a course, had an item repaired or purchased an off the shelf item we will keep certain information on file; name, address, order details, contact details, for up to 6 years. This is for the purpose of accounting, and for ease of reordering in the future.

We accept cash, cheques, online and card payments
All face to face card payments are processed through a SumUp terminal, this is a safe and secure service
