Perfect for the smaller workspace or for smaller projects these two new workbench options are smaller versions of the existing Three day Roubo Workbench.
They feature the same simplified knock down construction, pine frame, leg vise and chunky beech top with gap stop as the larger benches but in a much more compact footprint.

The 75cm Chair makers workbench
Available in two sizes: 75cm by 60cm and 120cm by 60cm. The bench heights are as usual to suit the bench builder
As with the larger Three Day Roubo benches 1-2 months notice is needed to allow David to gather together the materials plus prepare the timber. However as these benches are smaller and the components easier to store in the workshop to acclimatise it should be possible to fit in two small workbench builds per month if necessary.
Three day Chair makers workbench specifications.
- 75cm long (30”) (this can be extended to 120cm (4ft) as an optional extra).
- 60cm wide (approximately 24 inches / 2 foot).
- Custom height to suit the bench builder.
- Pine frame.
- Solid 7cm+ thick Beech top complete with gap stop.
- A leg vice with St Peter’s cross parallel guide / criss cross.
- Planked pine shelf.
- Can be built to suit left or right handed people.
- Knock down design for easy transportation, the main parts of the bench can be assembled and disassembled with 4 bolts and 4 coach screws. (Should fit in most cars from a new Mini upwards!). The smallest bench will fit in larger cars fully assembled.
- Super compact foot print but solid and versatile.
- An intensive three day, one to one course. Suitable for anyone that’s enthusiastic and happy to do some heavy lifting. No prior woodworking experience is necessary, perfect for beginners upwards.
- The three day course can be held on either Monday to Wednesday (depending on availability) Wednesday to Friday, Thursday through to Saturday.
- Course price: from £1150.00. This includes timber, hardware for a main vice and light lunches on all three days.
- Options such as extra hardware or different materials can be discussed and priced up as extra options.
